Measuring 8" x 10", the MakerGear HBP (for M2, M3-SE and M3-ID) allows users to ensure optimal print quality when extruding higher temperature materials such as ABS, PET, and many more.

Made of solid aluminum, the MakerGear HBP uses a resistive heater to reach temperatures up to 140 °C under ideal conditions and includes an integrated thermistor for precise temperature control. New HBPs are $60 plus a $20 refundable deposit.

Note:  this HBP is compatible with 24 V systems, so if you ordered your printer prior to November 2013, you may need to purchase the Power Supply Upgrade Kit to use this HBP.

Imperfect HBPs have been tested and are perfectly functional but have a cosmetic imperfection (such as a small annodizing blip or a scratch). Our imperfect HBPs work with both M2s and M3s. Imperfect HBPs are $40 plus a $20 refundable deposit.

Both new and imperfect HBPs ship with a return label for your old HBP. If you send your old HBP back to us (using the enclosed return label) within 30 days of your purchase date, we'll refund the $20 deposit back to your payment method.
